Incipits and Explicits: | No explicits but new passus introduced above line beginning with 2-line flourished initial; heading itself in same ink but anglicana formata whereas text is ordinary anglicana; underlined in red, eg 'Passus septimus de visione & c' f38v. On f124r, 'Explicit liber vocatus Pers plogh/man' followed by rubric 'Preston' or 'Prestoun' since macron over last two minims, in same coloured box as around explicit, same script as text. |
Illuminated Initials: | On f1, 4-line gold initial I on parti-coloured blue and rose ground with white highlights, following shape of letter, simple short sprays which are just black lines with pointed trefoils in gold on the ends. |
